MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER SHOW - 5 DAY

From AUD $2,095.00
  • Duration: 5 Days (approx.)
  • Location: Melbourne
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden show is celebrating its 29th year with an explosion of colour and design and proudly remains the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. The event is staged within the world Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building (home to our first Federal Parliament) and the surrounding Carlton Gardens.

The show will once again bring the creativity and passion of Australia’s top floral and landscape designers to Melbourne, delivered in stunning displays as well as a strong environmental message for gardening in the climate we live in. The show is an amazing celebration of Australian lifestyle and our great outdoors and attracts garden lovers from all over the world.

Our southern capital is a beautiful and sophisticated city and our accommodation is at the 4 star Best Western Plus Travel Inn located in Carlton, Melbourne (Ph: 03 9347 7922), a stones throw from the Flower Show. We will include many highlights such as Werribee State Rose Garden and the cosmopolitan Lygon Street.

Our first nights accommodation is at the 4 star Atura Albury Hotel and our journey to Melbourne will see us travel through Benalla, where we will visit the outstanding Botanic Gardens and also take in its impressive murals and street art. We will leave the Highway here and take a “backroads” tour through Mansfield, Bonnie Doon on Lake Eildon and Alexandra before crossing the range through towering forests.

Marysville was at the centre of the devastating Black Saturday bushfires of 2009 and has made an amazing recovery.
