BRIGADOON HIGHLAND GATHERING

From AUD $595.00
  • Duration: 2 Days (approx.)
  • Location: Batemans Bay
Join us in a celebration of all things Scottish, at the fabulous Brigadoon Festival. Thousands flock to experience the unforgettable sight of over 300 pipers and drummers leading the street parade onto the oval, it also includes colourful floats and displays, vintage cars and service vehicles. After the parade and official opening there will be massed band displays – “With carefully manoeuvred patterns of marchers, the flourish of the Drum Majors and the heavenly sound of the pipes receding, advancing and reverberating around the glen, you don’t need to be Scottish to feel the thrill of the occasion”. There will also be Highland Dancing, Highland Games including the caber toss, the kilted dash and medieval warfare, along with over 100 stalls to keep us entertained throughout the day.

Our accommodation is at the Mercure Goulburn and includes a delicious dinner and full cooked breakfast.
