The annual Celtic Festival in the delightful village of Berry is a perfect venue for this spectacular event. The village is nestled between rolling green hills, with the Cambewarra Range on one side and a stunning coastline on the other. With the bypass completed, Berry is a much more tranquil town. The festival commences with a Grand Street Parade as Pipe Bands with their distinctive kilts, together with representatives of all the clans, vintage cars, motorcycles, and Scottish Terrier dogs make their way to the showground which reverberates with the heavenly sound of the bag pipes. After the parade the day is full of entertainment with lots of musical items such as Celtic Fiddlers, Highland dancing and enchanting singing, along with the thrilling sight of the Medieval Knights in mock battle. There is also a vast array of stalls featuring Celtic merchandise as well as local produce and arts & crafts
