Bordered by the Great Barrier Reef and cradled by the calm waters of the Coral Sea, The Whitsunday Islands lie midway along the Queensland coast. The 74 islands form the largest offshore chain on Australia’s coast and without doubt one of the most stunningly beautiful in the world. Hamilton Island sits in the heart of the Whitsundays and our accommodation, the Reef View Hotel offers superb views over Cats Eye beach and the tranquil waters beyond. May to September in the Whitsundays sees a lot of humpback whale activity with the waters being important calving grounds, so we will be on the lookout whenever we are cruising through this blue water wonderland.

Our itinerary includes lots of Whitsunday highlights but also allows a relaxed pace to explore the many options on this beautiful island. Watersports abound with snorkelling, sailboarding, kayaking, stand up paddle boards, catamarans and jet ski tours all on offer along with tennis, golf, parasailing and scenic flights. Others may prefer a more laid back approach, enjoy one of the many spa treatments, poolside cocktails or simply soak up the tropical ambiance of our beautiful surroundings.

Airlie Beach is the gateway to the Whitsundays, a colourful cosmopolitan and inviting town on the shores of a palm fringed beach overlooking the sparkling waters of Pioneer Bay. Our deluxe accommodation is at the 4 star Coral Sea Resort which has a great reputation for its hospitality.
