SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS YULEFEST
- Duration: 2 Days (approx.)
- Location: Bowral
Although each season has its own special charm, Southern Highlands hospitality in winter is outstanding. Crisp winter air, spectacular scenery and roaring log fires combine to make July a great time to be in the highlands. We will spend a leisurely 2 days taking in many of the districts highlights as well as having time to explore the villages of Bowral, Berrima and Camden.
Our accommodation is at the outstanding Berida Hotel. Originally built as a home in 1925 and extended through the years, Berida is not your typical hotel. It is filled with history, charm and unique features at every turn. Our stay includes a delicious dinner and full cooked breakfast and there will be time to enjoy its many facilities.
We will travel to the highlands via Stanwell Park and the scenic Illawarra Coast Road which offers a spectacular contrast of scenery. We will drive around rugged cliffs and headlands, through the rainforests of the escarpment as we climb the Macquarie Pass to the rolling green hills of Robertson and surrounds.
Other highlights include:
· Sublime Point and Illawarra
· Southern Highlands Ngunggula Art Gallery
· Wine tasting at Centennial Vineyard
