Day 1 – Cairns & Palm Cove
We fly to Cairns and head straight into the tropical atmosphere with a visit to Rusty’s Markets, where we can wander and enjoy lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, we check into our beautiful Palm Cove accommodation and take time to settle in. This evening, we gather for dinner in-house, relaxing and getting to know each other as our Far North Queensland adventure begins.

Day 2 – Kuranda & Rainforest Experience
After morning tea at Freshwater Station, we board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for a breathtaking journey through lush rainforest and past tumbling waterfalls. In Kuranda, we enjoy lunch at leisure and time to explore the markets and village atmosphere. Later, we return to the coast on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding above the treetops with panoramic views. This evening, we share a memorable dinner at a local restaurant, right by the water.

Day 3 – Great Barrier Reef
We begin with morning tea at the wharf before boarding Reef Magic for a full-day adventure to Moore Reef. Here we snorkel or relax on the pontoon, with the option to join the Reef Connect program alongside a private marine biologist for deeper insight into this natural wonder. A delicious lunch is served on board before we return to Cairns in the late afternoon. Dinner tonight is in-house, perfect after a day at sea.

Day 4 – Daintree, Mossman & Port Douglas
Today we travel north, pausing at Rex Lookout for morning tea with sweeping coastal views. A serene Daintree River Cruise follows, where we spot wildlife and learn about this ancient rainforest ecosystem. At Mossman Gorge, we enjoy lunch and time to walk among lush greenery and cool waters. The afternoon is free to browse Port Douglas before returning to Palm Cove. Dinner tonight is at our own cost, giving us the freedom to choose locally.

Day 5 – Atherton Tablelands & Farewell Dinner
We journey inland to Lake Barrine, stopping at the historic teahouse for morning tea before a peaceful ferry cruise across the volcanic lake. After lunch, we explore the charming village of Yungaburra and visit the ancient Curtain Fig Tree. A tasting and tour at Gallo Dairyland adds a final touch of local flavour. Back at the hotel, we share a special farewell dinner together, celebrating our time in tropical Queensland.

Day 6 – Palm Cove & Return Home
After a slow and relaxing morning, we bid farewell to Palm Cove and transfer to Cairns Airport for our flight back to Sydney, carrying home memories of rainforests, reef adventures and warm shared moments.
