On this 2 day tour we will visit our spectacular coastline, from rugged cliffs and headlands of the Illawarra Coast, the wide expansive beaches of Gerringong and Gerroa to the amazing Point Perpendicular and brilliant white sands of Vincentia, there is stunning scenery at every turn. At the HARS Aviation Museum we will be able to walk through operational hangars & get up close and personal with the variety of Aeroplanes on display. The Science Centre and Planetarium is operated by the University of Wollongong and offers people of all ages and abilities an entertaining and interesting experience. In the BHP Star Theatre, day will be turned into night and we will travel the universe in style and comfort learning of the latest research and discoveries into our boundless universe. The Centre also boasts the largest hands-on space exhibit in New South Wales with hundreds of interactive exhibits exploring geology, biology, astronomy, physics and chemistry.
Jervis Bay is a pristine blue water wonderland andhome to a large pod of Bottlenose Dolphins which we will hopefully meet on our cruise.We return to Sydney via Berry with some free time to wander the charming streets, before continuing our journey home through the townships of Robertson and Bowral and drive over Mt Gibralter into Mittagong.
Our accommodation is at the 4 star Sebel Harbourside Kiama (Ph: 4230 7500) which provides the perfect base to explore the area.
