The vast Queensland outback offers an incredibly diverse range of landscapes, from remote desert regions to the coastal tropics of the Gulf.  This tour has been designed to showcase the unique natural beauty of the area along with its fascinating history.  Although covering reasonable distances, the inclusion of 2 night stays at Longreach, Mt Isa, Karumba and 3 nights at Cairns makes the itinerary less demanding and allows time to truly appreciate this amazing area.   Even though we are heading into the rugged outback, you are sure to be pleasantly surprised by the high standard of accommodation, much of it being 4 star.
