Longreach is the ideal outback base for experiencing the unique history, heritage and day to day life of this amazing region.   Our outback getaway starts with our flight to Longreach, via Brisbane.  This tour is certain to leave a lasting impression.  It offers the ultimate outback experience where local characters are waiting to spin yarns, tell some amazing tales and show you the true meaning of country hospitality. We will explore Longreach and the Australian stockman’s hall of fame, relive aviation history at Qantas Founders Museum, have a sunset cruise on the Thomson River and also take in the historic sights and discoveries of Winton.   We return from Longreach to Brisbane on board the Spirit of the Outback  -   travelling in first class comfort we will enjoy the ever-changing landscapes a million years in the making, matched with the best of this fascinating region.  We then transfer to Brisbane airport for our return flight to Sydney.
