This 8 day offers a great combination of cosmopolitan Brisbane, the pristine rainforest of Lamington National Park and the beautiful NSW north coast. We will enjoy 2 night stays at the excellent Point Hotel Brisbane, O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat and Opal Cove Resort at Coffs Harbour, with our final night at Old Bar.

Brisbane in recent years has become increasingly more vibrant and sophisticated and proudly bills itself as Australia’s latest Global City. During our stay we will explore many of its outstanding venues along with some lesser known hidden gems.

O’Reilly’s Guesthouse in Lamington National Park remains one of our most iconic destinations and the World Heritage listed rainforest surrounding it is home to a spectacular array of birds, including many that are highly prized by birdwatchers.  

The Coffs coast features many sublime beaches and is home to the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Coffs hinterland is superb, the Dorrigo National Park is World Heritage listed and the surrounding countryside contains many character filled towns. Opal Cove Resort is set on a beautiful absolute beachfront position on Korora Bay. It boasts 36 hectares of subtropical gardens surrounded by banana plantations and rainforest clad hills. 

Old Bar is a delightfully tranquil town at the mouth of the Manning River. This part of the coast offers more spectacular scenery and our return to Sydney will see us travel on the Lakes Way past Wallis, Smiths and Myall Lakes.
