PERTH, NINGALOO & BROOME - WEST COAST EXPLORER

From AUD $7,390.00
  • Duration: 14 Days (approx.)
  • Location: PERTH

This tour takes in 2800 kilometres of spectacular coastline from Perth to Broome. The highlight of the tour will be our 3 night stay at Exmouth at the northern end of the Coral Coast. Regarded as one of the last great ocean paradises, stretching 300 kilometres, Ningaloo Reef is Australia’s largest fringing reef system. Providing a dramatic outback contrast to the unspoilt Ningaloo coastline is the Cape Range National Park with its 30,000 hectres featuring deep canyons, breathtaking gorges and limestone ridges. Wildlife such as emus, red kangaroo, dingoes, echidnas and a variety of birds and reptiles are regularly sighted. A distinctive feature of the reef is that in many places beautiful coral gardens are located just metres from shore. Whale sharks visit Ningaloo Reef from April to August following the mass spawning of the coral and apart from the opportunity of swimming with these giants (that grow up to 18 metres), mantarays and turtles are frequently encountered.

We will enjoy 2 nights in Perth which is today a modern, thriving and vibrant city. We will cruise on the Swan River and also take in the rich heritage of Fremantle. Our journey north takes us past the amazing Pinnacles and historical Greenough on our way to Geraldton. Geraldton has established itself as a trendy seaside city with chic cafes, boutique shops and striking street art, galleries and fabulous beaches.

Kalbarri is a fabulous coastal town at the mouth of the Murchison River. The national park skywalk offers superb views over the gorge and its soaring sandstone cliffs are the town is recovering well from the 2021 Cyclone Seroja.

Carnarvon is ideally situated between Shark Bay and Ningaloo Reef and has become a major food bowl supplying a large percentage of Western Australia’s vegetables, tropical fruit and seafood.

Karratha and Port Headland are vibrant cities located in the heart of Western Australia’s Pilbara region. As crucial epicenters for the mining and resource industries, both are instrumental in the extraction and global export of valuable minerals.
