Today, they stand as a reminder of the region's industrial past and have become a popular spot for photographers and history enthusiasts.

Mudgee, aboriginal for ‘nest in the hills’, is a charming town nestled in the Central West region of New South Wales. Boasting a rich history dating back to the 19th century, the town is  characterized by its well-preserved heritage buildings, many of which now house boutique shops, cafes, and galleries.

flourishing wine industry has seen the town expand in recent years, however Mudgee has retained its character with settlement here dating back to the 1820s and its ‘golden’ past remains very evident. Surrounded by rich grazing country and a diversity of agriculture and horticulture, all framed by stunning National Parks, the district has seen enormous interest in recent years.  It has been awarded Australia’s Top Tourism Town for the last 2 years!
