CANOWINDRA INT BALLOON FESTIVAL

From AUD $1,495.00
  • Duration: 4 Days (approx.)
  • Location: Orange

Take to the skies (and the heart) with this 4-day escape to the colourful Canowindra Balloon Festival, where vibrant balloons fill the skies and country hospitality shines. Along the way, we’ll discover the best of regional New South Wales – from heritage towns and lush gardens to boutique wineries and sweeping mountain vistas.

We begin in the Blue Mountains, pausing in Millthorpe before settling into Orange, our base for the adventure. A guided tour reveals the stories of Orange, followed by a fascinating stop at the Age of Fishes Museum and an afternoon immersed in the magic of the Balloon Festival, culminating in the spectacular Balloon Glow – a breathtaking sight of illuminated balloons against the evening sky.

Our journey continues with the serene Japanese Gardens of Cowra, local wine tastings, and a touch of grandeur at Abercrombie House. We finish in Bathurst, where a heritage tour and a lap of Mount Panorama offer a memorable finale before returning via the Blue Mountains and Echo Point, gazing out over the Three Sisters.

With thoughtful inclusions, comfortable stays, and shared experiences, this short escape is a celebration of colour, culture, and connection.
