Mudgee, aboriginal for ‘nest in the hills’, is a beautiful town and great destination for a short break.   Our journey takes us over the Blue Mountains and home through Merriwa, Denman and the Hunter Valley.   Our accommodation is 4 star at the Parklands Resort Mudgee  (Ph 6372 4500), set on 15 hectares of gardens and pasture land, where we will enjoy its friendly country hospitality and excellent facilities.
