- Dauer: 4 Tage (ca.)
- Ort: Mudgee
Mudgee, aboriginal for ‘nest in the hills’, is a beautiful town and great destination for a short break. Our journey takes us over the Blue Mountains and home through Merriwa, Denman and the Hunter Valley. Our accommodation is 4 star at the Parklands Resort Mudgee (Ph 6372 4500), set on 15 hectares of gardens and pasture land, where we will enjoy its friendly country hospitality and excellent facilities.
Nestled in the heart of New South Wales, Mudgee is a town where history, heritage and natural beauty converge. While the booming wine industry has fuelled recent growth, Mudgee has managed to retain its distinctive character, shaped by a rich past dating back to 1820s. The town’s golden era, marked by the 19th century gold rush, still echoes through its charming streets and historic architecture, creating a unique blend of old-world charm and modern vitality.
